RECOMMENDATIONS 

"I am writing this letter in recommendation of Justin Weingartner. I had the privilege of working with Justin on two games in simultaneous development and found him to be a skilled environmental artist who approached his work with dedication and enthusiasm. One game was G.I. JOE: The Rise of COBRA for the PSP and the other was an unannounced PSP game. These games were a unique challenge in that we were sharing technology and assets with a sister studio as they developed these games for high end systems such as the Xbox 360 and PS3. Justin did an excellent job of manipulating high end assets to make them both fit within memory and look good on the PSP. However, this was no run-of-the-mill port project. This engine was designed for simultaneous, cross-platform development. Every change made to the Xbox 360 reverberated across all skus, frequently undoing the work Justin had previously completed. Justin dealt with this circumstance like a true professional, though it meant he had to redo the same work many times over the life of the project. In addition, because of our dependence on a California studio, this project encountered an unexpected level of crunch time. Again, Justin took the challenge in stride and remained engaged, efficient and productive through the life of the project. Working with Justin was a true pleasure and I hope to have the opportunity to do so again on future games. I give him my highest recommendation and will be glad to answer further questions upon request."
